How to set up Outlook Express 5.x/6.x for Windows

  1. Open Outlook Express and select [Accounts] under [Tools] on the menu bar

  2. When the Window is open as illustrated below, click on the [Add] button and then click on [Mail]

  3. Enter the sender's name in the [Display name] space. (This is the name that is indicated as the recipient when mail is received)

  4. For Internet E-mail Address check [I already have an e-mail address that i'd like to use.] and in the [E-mail address] space enter your E-mail address

  5. For [E-mail Server Names] register as follows :

    6. My incoming mai server is aPOP3
    Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP or HTTP) serverpop.nirai.ne.jp
    Outgoing mail (SMTP) serversmtp.nirai.ne.jp

  6. For [Internet Mail Logon] register as follows :

    7. Account nameEnter your fixed NIRAI account name
    PasswordEnter your fixed NIRAI password
    Click [Remember password]

  7. Setup is completed. Click [Finish]
