How to check NIC for Windows XP

  1. Right-click on My Computer icon and click [Properties], located in the upper left-hand corner of your Desktop.

  2. Select [Hardware], and click [Device Manager]

  3. Double-click [Network Adapters], then double-click the name of the NIC you are using.

  4. Please make sure that [This device is working properly.] is written under [Device status]

  5. If anything other than [This device is working properly.] is written under Device status, the NIC must be reinstalled.
