How to set up Windows Mail for Vista

Account Name k-taro
Mail Address k-taro@nirai.ne.jp

  1. Open Windows Mail and select [Accounts] under [Tools] on the menu bar

  2. When the Window is open as illustrated below, click on the [Add] button

  3. Select [E-mail Account], then click [Next] button

  4. Enter your name in the [Display name] space. (This is the name that will appear in the From field of outgoing message)

  5. Enter your Nirai E-mail address in [E-mail address] space

  6. For [Set up e-mail servers] register as follows :

    7. Incoming e-mail server typePOP3
    Incoming mail (POP3, IMAP) serverpop.nirai.ne.jp
    Outgoing mail server(SMTP) namesmtp.nirai.ne.jp

  7. For [Internet Mail Logon] register as follows :

    8. Account nameEnter your Nirai account name
    PasswordEnter your e-mail password
    Click [Remember password]

  8. Setup is completed. Click [Finish]
