TCP/IP configuration for Windows98/Me

  1. Click [Start] - [Settings] - [Control Panel]

  2. Open [Network] icon

  3. Choose [TCP/IP -> your network card], and click [Properties]

  4. Click on the [IP address] tab, and select [Obtain an IP address automatically]

  5. Click on the [Gateway] tab, and all the fields in this section should be empty.

  6. Click on the [DNS Congifuration] tab, and select [Disable DNS]

  7. Click [OK] button to return to the Network Congifuration window, then click [OK] again to exit to the Control panel.
  8. In case, you may have to restart your Computer.
