User Homepage Service Guide

Conditions

  • Available only to Nirai members exept Personal course
  • 10MB disc space is available free of charge.
  • For Nirai Economy user, it costs 1,050yen / month. (5% tax included)
  • Additional disk space available. 1,050yen / 5MB. (5% tax included)

How to Apply

  • User can set up your Nirai User's Home page by yourself. Click here and login to Nirai portal. Then go to [User homepage creation]

Notice

  • To upload the homepage file, please use ftp software. Nirai cannot support other uploading methods.
  • Please make a backup copy of your computers files (i.e.,floppy disk, zip drive, etc.)
  • Nirai will delete your homepage without any notice if the contents are found to violate public order or standards of decency.
  • Please take the utmost care not to violate copyright laws

How to use User Homepage

Upload Homepage

  1. Create a homepage on your computer.
  2. Check your file in your local environment when it is completed.
  3. When you confirmed that the file runs correctly, upload your homepage to Nirai's www server using ftp software.
  4. Using the Internet browser, confirm that your homepage is displayed correctly.
  5. If your homepage is not displayed correctly, adjust it in your local environment and upload it again.

For Viewing an Uploaded Homepage

The URL of your uploaded homepage is shown above. You can view your homepage by typing the address onto the browser.

If the file name of the top page is index.htm (or index.html), it is not necessary to input the file name.

How to set up Access Counter

  1. Indicated by entering the tag as below in your HTML documents.

    2. <IMG SRC="/cgi-bin/count.cgi?XXXXXXXX_0">

    XXXXXXX is the same as your account. You can add access counter until 10 by changing number from 0 to 9.

    (example)

  2. Access to the maintenance page from the following address.

  3. Input your account and "_" and the number of target account. And input password.

  4. In Counter System page, the state of the present counter is displayed.

    5. The value of a counterThe value of a counter is inputted.
    image fileThe image which you want to display from the image sample is chosen.
    The number of digit of a counterThe number of digit of a counter is decided.
    Prevention of a double countCount-up by access which continued from the same place is prevented.
    [Send]A setup is confirmed.
