Network Configuration
Connection is through a LAN. We will provide installation of the Cable Internet line and the Cable Modem.
- You are required to connect the Cable Modem by using Router and 100BASE-TX ethernet cable. (not using hub)
- If your computer does not have a LAN cable port, you will need to purchase a NIC (Network Interface Card) and install it .
- Not all NIC match all computers. Please be sure to purchase an appropriate one for your computer.
- Nirai can not configure the User's Broadband Router and Wireless Router .
For users applied before 1st July 2007

Thank you for using Nirai internet service. We have examined our service specifications for improvement of user's convenience, and we decided to change Super specifications since 1st July 2007. Users who applied before 1st July 2007 can choose two choice. One is to change the course, from Super to Premium Option. This course is the same as older specifications of Super Plan . But the monthly fee is cheaper than those of Super Plan . The other one is to apply for the static global IP address. The new specification will make it possible to get static global IP address and to set your own server after the application of static global IP address.
Please note that if you do not change the course or do not apply for static global IP address, you will use Super service as older specifications and it still consts 6,510 yen for monthly fee.

Other Notes
Even if you are a subscriber of Cable Television, subscription to Nirai may not always be possible depending upon environmental factors, such as residence in an apartment house.
